Clinical Supervisor – Registered Nurse (RN) (Home Care) (Part Time)

  • Location: Southfield, Michigan
  • Schedule: Part-time position (Days) with on-call responsibilities

Description:HealthCall Home Care is seeking a qualified RN with management experience to serve as a part-time Clinical Supervisor in Southfield, Michigan.  All RNs who have at least 2 years hospital nursing experience and at least 1 year management/supervisory experience are encouraged to apply.  HealthCall Clinical Supervisors work in the office and in our clients’ homes providing direct patient care.  The Clinical Supervisor manages and oversees the care delivery of patients.  The Clinical Supervisor provides guidance, direction, training and performance evaluations to the clinical team and is a resource person for the staff and Agency.  The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Administrator of Clinical Services, but closely collaborates with peers and support staff.  He/She ensures regulatory compliance and incorporates customer service in daily job duties.  He/she collaborates with the primary clinician, physician, and other providers as needed on the development of the plan of care and monitors individualized pathway or plan of care to assure patient outcomes are met.

Minimum Requirements/Skills:

  • Registered nurse with current licensure to practice as a professional in the State
  • Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing.
  • Two years of hospital nursing required.
  • One year management or supervisory experience in a health care setting preferred.
  • Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with OASIS preferred
  • Demonstrates compliance with accepted professional standards and practice
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and organization requirements and is in good working order
  • Complies and maintains current CPR certification
  • Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills

Description:

At HealthCall, speech-language pathology or audiology services are provided in accordance with a plan of care. The Speech-Language Therapist’s duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: initial and interim assessment and evaluation of the client’s level of speech, language, hearing, and swallowing function; problem identification and goal setting; development of the plan of treatment in consultation with the physician; provision of speech-language pathology or audiology services in accordance with the plan of treatment; revision of the plan of treatment as needed; interdisciplinary coordination and adherence to the plan of care; client/family education as appropriate; evaluation and recommendation of mechanisms to enhance the client’s speech, language, hearing, and swallowing ability; and timely recording of evaluation data, treatments, client’s response to therapy interventions.

Minimum Requirements/Skills:

  • Have the minimum of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Hold a license to practice Speech Therapy in the State of Michigan.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year work experience as a speech therapist.
  • Must have a valid Michigan State driver’s license with current automobile insurance coverage.

Physical Therapy services are provided in accordance with a plan of care. The Physical Therapist’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: initial and interim assessment and evaluation of the client’s level of functioning; development of the plan of treatment in consultation with the physician; client/family education as appropriate; and requisition and management of equipment and supplies required to increase the client’s function and independence as appropriate to care.
